Sue Hoffman is the founder and creative director of Absolute Designers, in NJ, and Sue Hoffman Designs, in NY. where she has been producing high quality, creative marketing materials for two decades. Before founding Sue Hoffman Designs, Sue held positions as studio manager, art director, and designer for several design and publishing firms in New York City. Her award-winning work for clients such as Konica, Lysol, NYC Mayor’s Office, Haymarket Media, Neurogen and Armani Exchange has been published in myriad magazines, books and websites.
Over these decades, Sue has been called on for design and marketing consultations by many non-profits and local municipalities who wish to build awareness about specific programs or events. These organizations include NYCDEC, Boys & Girls Club of America, Safe Horizons, Public Health Solutions, NYS Council on the Arts, and Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada.
Sue first studied business administration at S.U.N.Y. at Albany but, while working with budgets and analysis in the marketing department of an insurance company, she found the creative side of marketing to be much more intriguing. This inspired her return to school for graphic design at Russel Sage College and then, after moving back New York City, at School of Visual Arts. She has combined both right-brain and left-brain skills ever since.
